At Tagpie, your privacy is important to us. This privacy policy sets out how we collect and handle your data while you use Tagpie. We encourage you to read it. If you don't agree with the terms in this policy that's fine, but we'd ask you then to please not use Tagpie.
We'll make changes to this policy every so often, and when we do we'll let you know. If you continue to use Tagpie after you've been notified of changes to this policy, we'll assume you're happy to abide by the terms of the new policy.
This privacy policy does not apply to the App Store where you purchased Tagpie, which may also collect data about you. We're not responsible for data collected by third parties such as the providers of App Stores.
When you use Tagpie, we store the categories and tags you create on your device where Tagpie is installed. We do not share this data with anyone. We do not transmit this data anywhere. Only you, or anyone you authorise to access your device, can see this data. You are able to delete this data at any time by uninstalling Tagpie and choosing to remove all related data, or by simply deleting all of the categories you have created in Tagpie.
While using Tagpie, you can choose to share tags you have selected with other applications, or choose to copy them to the clipboard. Once you have shared your selected tags with another application, or have pasted them into another application, the privacy policy of the third party application then applies. We are not responsible for how other applications or services use your tags after you have chosen to share them.
In order to save your tags and categories onto your device, we ask for permission to access your device's files. This is also important for you to be able to backup and import your tags. You can control these permissions at any time in your device's settings.
Depending on your device, you might choose to enable data collection features such as automatic backups or automatic synchronisation of app data between devices. This privacy policy does not apply to these mechanisms which are provided by the platform vendor of your device. We are not responsible for the data collection or transmission which takes place as part of these mechanisms.
In order to acknowledge the work of others which parts of Tagpie are based on or have utilised, there are links provided to third party websites. We are not responsible for the content of these sites, and if you visit them their privacy policies will apply.
